Client

A large-scale producer of meat snacks that utilizes modern technologies for product manufacturing. Operates in the B2B segment.

Task

Our art director was tasked with analyzing competitor brands and, based on a SWOT analysis conducted by the marketing department, developing a unique packaging design for meat snacks of various flavors.


Step 01

Creating brand packaging

  • During the research phase, we spent several days working as merchandisers and analysts in the retail snack segment. We studied how consumers compare our product to others and how the overall assortment influences purchasing decisions.

  • The design team approved five main flavors and selected five different colors according to Pantone for printing. As per the contract, we developed three distinct style concepts, each with its own character. Aligned with the brand's positioning, the designer utilized animal imagery and combined it with various fonts.

  • The presence of the trademark on the packaging was a mandatory requirement.

  • Different concepts had unique styles. The project presentation involved the company's management, technical director, production technologist, and of course, the marketing team.

Project Results

The art director and the creative department of the Rubarb agency finalized a single concept that was prepared for printing according to the requirements of the printing industry. We made the brand not only visually more appealing but also more appetizing to the target audience.

Thanks to the unified concept, the brand can easily scale to other flavors.
